Improved Health Care: Haemodialysis Group seeks partnership with Liberty TV & FM stations

As part of efforts towards providing succour to Nigerians who require haemodialysis service delivery, a group, named: ‘Rayuwa da Zurfi’ has sought partnership of ATAR communications Nig. Ltd, owners of Liberty TV/Radio FMs stations and other online News platforms.

Leading the group, Haj Jamila Zanna Mohammed said their aim is to review the barriers to effective dialysis management and highlight opportunities for improvement.

Receiving the group at the corporate headquarters of ATAR communications, the Executive Chairman, (Dr.) Ahmed Tijjani Ramalan commended them for taking up the onerous task of providing dialysis machines across Nigeria, he said

The cost of maintenance of dialysis is enormous for both individuals and governments and is beyond the reach of many individuals and families and has led to an increase in mortality rate.

The leader of the group, Hajia Jamila Z. Mohammed, who explained the purpose for their visit said a good number of Nigerians with kidney problem are languishing under the huge cost of treatment and medication and a shortage of medical equipment, hence the need for the intervention

Other members of the group, who reiterated the importance of these machines to patients, said although establishing a kidney treatment centre is very expensive, even for the government, it is however imperative to contribute their own bit to improving the health of those affected.

They were conducted round the Liberty TV and Liberty Radio 103.3 FM studios and the Liberty House facility by the Executive Chairman, (Dr.) Ahmed Tijjani Ramalan.
